World Hunger

THERE ARE OVER 200 MILLION CHILDREN WHICH ARE SUFFERING THE EFFECTS OF MALNUTRITION.

Despite global improvements, malnutrition in the developing world remains too high – and there are also some places, including sub-Saharan Africa and southern Asia, where poor nutrition is rising rapidly.

Malnutrition has severe consequences that can impact generations and affects every stage life. Poor malnourished mothers are more likely to have low birth weight babies and die in childbirth. Children born to malnourished mother are at increased risk of disease and death. Malnourished children face lifelong consequences in lower retention in school, reduced mental capacity and reduced lifetime earnings.
